Though many golfers my age began playing as soon as they could walk, I picked up my first club in the fall of my freshman year of high school. Instantly I fell in love with the game. Because I began at a later age, I had to practice countless hours and play in numerous tournaments to catch up with other experienced, high-school golfers. As a junior now at Alexandria High School, Alabama, it would be an honor and a privilege to play golf collegiately. I am very passionate about golf, and I have a very coachable and teachable spirit. I am punctual, a hard worker, and possess a lively, go-getter attitude. I am trustworthy and responsible. I am also outgoing and enjoy building lasting relationships and connections through golf.
Not only do I work hard on the golf course, but I work hard in the classroom. I have maintained straight A's throughout my entire educational career, and have been a member of the National Honors Society for two consecutive years. Studying is not optional for me; I have resolved to put in the necessary work for success in everything I do, and academics is no exception.
I plan to attend a four-year Christian university and pursue a degree in the Business field. I am undecided on the specific major. As a collegiate athlete, I promise to work harder than all other recruits, keep a positive attitude, and represent the university in an honorable manner.
