Keira DeLand '24 Recruiting Profile

Hi! I am Keira DeLand and am looking forward to playing golf at the college level. I started playing golf competitively these past two years and have grown to enjoy the game and community deeply. My interest in the sport grew after learning about the great opportunities after high school. Living in Alaska has its challenges with our short season, limited amount of opportunities, and no high school golf, but this has made me even more motivated and dedicated to succeed. 

Golf has taught me a lot and I have seen myself grow in this sport. I have recognized my drive and have worked extremely hard to become a better player and person. I recently won the Alaska Women’s State Match Play as a 15-year-old and that amazing experience made me realize how much my hard work has paid off. I am on track to graduate high school with above a 4.0 GPA.
