Tara Whittaker '20 Recruiting Profile

My collegiate goals as a student are to earn a four year degree in social services and play competitive golf at the school I attend. I would be an exemplary candidate for colleges because of my positive attitude, strong work ethic, and leadership skills. I would carry these traits to the classroom, the golf course, and clubs that I would be involved in on campus. During my four years of high school, my involvement in Student Council and Best Buddies have humbled me and taught me a lot about being a role model to those around me. I was elected Student Council President for the class of 2020 all four years of highschool. Additionally, I have held the position of Best Buddies Vice President for the past two years. Having this opportunity sets me apart from others by being a well-rounded student and having the ability to be an advocate for those around me. Although my golf career started not too long ago, I have quickly gained the ability of power, speed, and angles to make contact with the ball. In college, I want to not only be a part of the athletics but also be academically and club driven too.
