I am a hardworking, dedicated and focused student athlete. I work very hard at improving my soccer skills not only training with my current club but train on "off days" with a private trainer. I am also a hard worker in the classroom. I currently have a cumulative gpa of 4.0 and a weighted gpa of 4.56. I have been playing club soccer for at least 9 years. For the 2021/2022 season I am playing for RSL-AZ North 03/04 Girls Varela team and starting at Center Back. We are playing in the Arizona Premier League.
I am an under the radar recruit due to the fact I suffered a significant injury in September 2018. I suffered a torn ACL and torn cartilage during a club game. After my surgery in October 2018 I went to physical therapy and trained hard to get back onto the soccer field. It took over a year to feel fully 100% but after working hard I returned to club soccer and earned a starting role with my current club. My injury and recovery made me mentally and physically stronger. After working my way back to the field and being a starter, I realized even more that nothing is given it is all earned, and it can all be taken away in a second. I deeply appreciate being back out on the field and I will work even harder to become better, stronger and faster. It’s been 2 years since my injury, and I feel great!
I have always been one of the tallest, strongest and most physical players on my team. I am always trying to get better, faster and stronger. My parents have always told me that the one thing I have that not many other players have is height (currently 5'10") and to take advantage of my height and strength. I take pride in being coachable, a great teammate, working hard and the fact that I don't miss practice. I just started my junior year at Shadow Ridge HS and am taking Honors and Advanced Placement classes.
I have a goal of playing competitive college soccer as well as maintaining straight A's through High School. Thank you for viewing my profile and I look forward to hearing from you.
