My name is Ella Scabar, I’m 5’7’’ and weigh 150 pounds. I’m currently playing at Fraser Heights Secondary. I’ve been on the team since my eighth-grade year, and now as a twelfth grader, I also play out of Meadow Gardens Golf Club in Pitt Meadows BC. I am beginning to explore college options and I’m very interested in attending and playing golf at University. I know I have the potential and willingness to help my university’s golf team in the near future. I started playing golf when I was nine years old and have dreamed of being able to play for my college while studying to earn a degree. I plan to major in Kinesiology or Occupational therapy. My keen interest in kinesiology is to help people who are injured from motor vehicle accidents to get better. I’m inspired by my mom who is the owner of her own kinesiology, OT, Physio and Massage therapy clinic. Doing this will allow me to help people in need. In British Columbia, my home province, I placed in the top 15 on the Maple Leaf Junior Tour Order of merit standings in the Girls 15-19 division. I am delighted that I could be awarded at that time as it demonstrates my learning, correct attitude, and ethical behaviour with my opponents as well as the golf sport that I’m passionate about.
I hope I can get the chance to golf with you in the fall of 2022.
