Nikki Chindavong '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi!  My name is Nikki Chindavong. I am a junior attending Rodriguez High School (Early College High School) in Fairfield, California. I am a student-athlete with a 4.422 weighted GPA. I play competitive golf year around. I am very passionate about the game because it has provided me endless opportunities to meet new people and learn more about myself each day. I believe that golf teaches me how to deal with different circumstances as they arrive throughout life. 

I would describe myself as persistent, passionate, understanding, confident, hardworking, and courageous. My three life mottos are:  “Anything is possible if you put your mind to it”; “Living without a passion, is like being dead”; and “Everything happens for a reason”.  With hard work, dedication, and patience, any goal is obtainable. When I do something, I always put 110% of my heart and effort into my work.  

I believe that college golf will allow me to grow as an individual, on and off the course. I will be pursuing an undergraduate degree in either Psychology or Business Administration. I will then continue to pursue a graduate degree in Counseling-Education.  College golf will provide me the opportunity to be a part of a team, yet allow me to be a reliable and independent individual. To have the chance to work alongside other passionate individuals is truly the dream. It would be an honor to share experiences with a team full of life and sincerity.
