My name is Elanah Rae, I'm currently a Junior enrolled at La Canada High School.
As a Junior, my grades to date have achieved an above-average GPA (3.8) and I've also taken a few AP and Honors classes throughout my high school years. In college, I would love to have the chance to study business and communications, and ideally some study in the area of psychology which has always interested me.
I'm active in golf about 5-6 days a week, practicing almost daily and trying to play as much as I can to improve my game. I believe the fact I'm very goal-oriented and committed to achieving my goals differentiates me from most athletes. Once I set an objective for myself, I'm completely driven to make sure I succeed. I love being part of a team. Golf itself can be mentally challenging and it's awesome to have people who are there for you when you don't have your best day but are also committed to a common objective. Being part of a golf team, indeed any college team is so special because you make friends not only for your time in college but friendships that will hopefully last for a lifetime.
