GiGi DiMond '21 Recruiting Profile

Hi, My name is GiGi DiMond! I am a sophomore at Laguna Beach High School. At the age of 6 I began playing golf and fell in love with the game! I have always been drawn to the competitive atmosphere and the desire to improve.

The accomplishments I achieved my first year of high school and even now as a golfer has proven the time and effort in my game... and it has been paying off! My freshman year I made Varsity. I was featured in the Freshman Standout Athletes and also was Rookie of the Year. I have helped lead the team with multiple victories. 

Not only do I strive for improvement on the golf course, I also challenge myself in the classroom. I enjoy learning new concepts and the challenges that comes with them. My hard work and commitment is what maintains my 3.8 GPA. I intend to enroll in AP classes both my junior and senior year of high school. In my free time I enjoy riding horses, attending luxury car shows, and shopping! I am a volunteered trainer at my barn and participating member of the Car Club. I constantly look for ways to use my leadership to help others both in and out of the classroom.

My goal has always been to play golf in high school. Now, the hours I spend practicing on and off the golf course in addition to those with my high school team, I put towards pursuing my passion of playing collegiate golf possible. I look forward to making my dream a reality and playing at the collegiate level.
