October 2013Personal Statement
Currently I am in my second year at Seton Hill University. (Permission to contact letter is attached).
I have always been a passionate athlete and student. Since the age of three, I started playing soccer followed by competitive soccer. Then I fell in love with the game of golf. My parents joined Woodbridge Country Club which allowed me spend endless hours on the course. This current season, I have been able to maintain a 78 avg for 18 holes, and I have been the High Individual at two of the tournaments so far this year. I recently just earned both PSAC Golfer of the weeks and SHU Athlete of the Week. I have always been a high achiever and tend to set my goals beyond the standard. Academics are also very important to me - i have worked very hard to maintain a 4.2 in high school and a 3.96 in college to stay at the top of my class. I earned PSAC Scholar Athlete Honors my freshman year, and I was nominated for Rookie of the Year. My current goal is to play golf at the collegiate level for a coach that will help me take my game to the next level.
