Kassidy Dunkin '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Kassidy Dunkin and I am in the class of 2022. I am currently the only woman on a men's varsity golf team at Serrano High School. I played two seasons my freshman year because I moved to Serrano after my first season at San Jacinto High School. Shortly after making the  Varsity team at both schools I became the one of the top players always playing the seniors and keeping up. I don't compete in CIFS because I am on a Men's team and am not allowed in their CIF even though I qualified.  It has taught me to see the game a different way, and has structured my work ethic to be even stronger. I have a structured mentality that allows me to control my game. I play from the blue and white tees because I play on the men's team and at my home course I play 6,962 yards which I average 83 from.  My collegiate goals are to help improve the golf program, and improve my education to become a criminal defense lawyer. I am different from other recruits because I am very coachable, and my goals are always to improve my game. I am very self driven, intelligent, hard working and will always put my best foot forward. I live in a low income household therefore I only play for high school teams and am not able to join tournaments or compete in state do to not having the funds. Though I don't compete outside of high school season I play all year long and work to be where I am given the circumstances. I am a bright scholar and a strong competitor who always play the game to the best of my ability.
