Briana Dunbar '21 Recruiting Profile

Hello! My name is Briana Dunbar and I am a senior at Redondo Union High School in Redondo Beach, California. I have been on our Girls' Varsity team for 4 years now, and I am proud to be this year's captain. I began golfing when I was about 9 years old and have not stopped ever since. I started competing in middle school and hope to play throughout my college career as I love the game and find myself on the course multiple times a week.

I find myself to be a valuable student athlete for any school because I am very career driven. I am hoping to pursue a major in Political Science and have confirmed my interest in the field after taking Political Science at El Camino College this summer. I also took Philosophy and am currently enrolled in Criminal Law and Psychology. Academics consistently take precedence in my busy schedule as I must balance school (high school and college), golf, and my job. I finished last semester with a 4.5 GPA in, arguably, the hardest semester of high school and finished my college courses with As making my current standing college GPA a 4.0.
