My name is Elisa Forino and I am currently getting ready for my junior at Redondo Union High School in Redondo Beach, California, graduating in 2023. Along with soccer, I take my education very seriously, which is why I am taking AP US History, AP Environmental Science, and AP Language. I am just beginning to look at colleges and wanted to introduce myself so that you are able to get to know who I am.
I play on the Beach FC 05 ECNL team (formerly Beach FC 05 DA) for Coach Victoria Boardman. My main position is center back but I am an experienced outside back as well. Defense might not be the most glamorous position, but it is the base of the team. Without a strong base, the team falls apart. This is why I was drawn to the position; I might not score all of the goals or get all of the glory, but I know I am holding my team together.
My motto is to stay humble and hungry. This philosophy has helped guide me through my life and has allowed me to be successful on the field and in the classroom. My goal is to play college soccer at the highest level with a school that offers strong academics to prepare me for my future.
