Madeline Skotte '20 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Maddy Skotte, I am an upcoming high school senior at Maranatha Christian school in San Diego. I just recently started playing golf as a sophomore at Westview High and landed a spot on the varsity girls team after only playing for four months. I started with a 130 yard drive, and double par plus one on every hole.  As a junior, I transferred schools and then joined my school’s boys golf team where I placed 4th on my team with my best 9-hole score of 7 over on the blues. I recently have been fitted for new clubs and am loving them because I hit them over 50 yards further than before. As an incoming senior with new clubs, my drive is around 230 yards consistently and I shoot around 13 over on the blues.  I am working on establishing a new handicap over the new season.
