Lynn Pham '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Lynn Pham and I am from San Diego, California and attend University City High School.  I play in San Diego Junior Golf Association (SDJGA) tournaments in combination with Toyota Tour Cup tournaments. My long term goals include  being a part of the Women’s Amateur and one day becoming a professional.  In the process, I will continue to study at school to get good grades, continue to train and improve my golf game. At the moment I am working on my mental mindset and am learning how to recover faster from hardships and how to deal with pressure better. Despite my many years of improving my golf game and both winning and losing at numerous tournaments, I believe I can always continue to improve my mindset to become stronger mentally. I’ve recently been improving  my approach shots of all distances to become more accurate and more flexible with distance ranges. In combination with that, I am training to increase my average driving distance. I have a lot of things I am working on because I feel like no matter what, they can always be improved upon. This includes increasing my driving distance to be on average 260 yards. Some college pathways I am interested in getting into are getting either a business degree or a computer science degree. These specific pathways interest me the most but I am flexible with my interests.

Things that make me stand out among the crowd is that if I see and understand a mistake, I will continue to keep working hard to correct myself. I do not "give up" and will continue to push myself even with the risk of failure. I have my many passions, and I do everything in my power to be able to pursue those passions to the best of my extent.
