Eliana Hellon '24 Recruiting Profile

My name is Eliana Hellon and I am a high school sophomore attending Elite Academic Academy. I have been actively playing local golf tournaments, improving my game with consistent practice and lessons with my swing coach Jey Bacani in San Diego, CA. 

As a student-first athlete, I am focused on excelling in my academics and continuing to improve my golf game.  As a high school student, I am taking college courses, and leading a club I founded that supports students who are concurrently enrolled in both high school and community college courses to make connections and learn the skills to be successful dual-enrolled students. I volunteer for my church and assist my golf coach by helping mentor younger kids for his golf camps. 

My interests outside of golf are acting, modeling, playing with my dog, and reading. In addition to my love for golf, I have a passion for acting. I started acting in 2021 and booked a National Commercial for Cox Communications! I believe my experiences have helped me have a more balanced life and prepared me to become a successful college student and adult.

Here are a few of my SMART goals for my future:

1. Lower my scoring average to the mid-70s by end of 2022.
2. Get accepted to a college that fits my academic and athletic goals by 2024.
3. Finish my Associate's Degree in Theater Arts by 2024.
4. Receive my Bachelor's Degree in Theater and Performance Studies with a Minor in Communications by 2026.
