An aspiring collegiate golfer with a passion for science, community, and all things Marvel!
There are many reasons why I consider myself a strong candidate to be a player on any collegiate golf team. I have been playing golf since I was six years old. I was fortunate to join the SCGA Junior instruction program when it began its outreach program in southeast Los Angeles. This unique opportunity provided me with the advantages to develop as a golfer and an individual. Through the program, I developed my game and formed friendships with many other rising junior golf stars. I also learned many valuable lessons such as honesty, discipline, and perseverance. Teamwork however was the most important skill I gained through my SCGA and high school training as the individuality of golf rarely provides this.
Outside of golf, I am a normal 16-year-old girl who loves to hang out with friends and family, watch Marvel movies, write short stories, and exercise. I do spend a lot of time volunteering with different charities through my work with the National Charity League of Whittier. My academic goal is to pursue a degree in Chemistry. I have always been fascinated with science and I hope to contribute to the fight to cure cancer.
I am now in my Junior year of high school and seeking a place where I can continue to mature as a golfer and grow as an individual. I hope you consider my golf statistics, academic record, and the intangibles I can bring to your program and the school.
