Hi, my name is Alexandra Koto Freeman. I am a current junior at “Achieve at the Golf Performance Center”. I first started playing golf in elementary school as a hobby but did not have much interest. At the time, I was pursuing other extracurriculars outside of school, such as soccer and basketball. During my Freshmen year, I joined the Golf Performance Center's after-school program. From there, my interest and passion for golf escalated quickly. I realized how fascinating the sport is, and how unique it is compared to all the other sports out there. Golf is a game that tests your physical and mental side, and I love being able to test myself in those areas. Having played basketball and soccer in the past, I truly enjoy practicing golf the most. I joined “Achieve at the Golf Performance Center” during my Sophomore year to begin my journey to college golf because I knew college golf was something I wanted to pursue. If there is one thing I've learned so far, it's that a journey like this takes persistence and discipline.
