Starting at 8 years old, I have always had a growing passion for golf. I love the game and everything that it has to offer. I am eager to play golf throughout my college experience and bond with the team around me. Throughout high school I have loved being on the golf team, as I have learned to work together to make each of us better than we were before.
In school, I strive to get good grades by focusing on my school work and prioritizing my needs to fit everything in my schedule. When I am faced with an academic obstacle, I ask my peers and teachers for help in order to improve when I am struggling. This school year, I am taking three AP classes and two honors, therefore I am prepared to work my hardest to continue receiving good grades. Additionally, in school I am in National Honor Society, National English Honor Society, Key club, and Hawkeye club. Within all of these organizations and clubs, I can bond with the people around me by striving to make our community better.
When it comes to golf, I play in many tournaments to help me improve my game and get a feel of the competition world. I enjoy practicing throughout the week with many of my friends, where we can push each other to improve on our games. Furthermore, I enjoy playing the course, as it helps me learn how to play the different circumstances that may get thrown my way.
Overall, I am immensely looking forward to playing golf throughout college, where I can bond and improve with my teammates!
