Hi I am Peyton Johnson Class of 2027.
I’m so excited to be approaching a big milestone in my golf journey—something I’ve been working toward and looking forward to for a long time.
I’m a high school sophomore from Tallahassee, FL and a dedicated competitor with a strong academic record. I’ve been a varsity starter since 6th grade and in January 2025 I qualified as an individual for the FHSAA Class 1A State Championship, where I shot 72–71 (+1) to finish T-14 out of 96.
I’m climbing in the Junior Golf Scoreboard rankings and have a busy summer ahead playing in Southeastern Junior Golf Tour and Florida Junior Tour events. I’ve posted several under-par rounds, including a personal best 65 (-7) at Southwood Golf Club and a recent 69 (-3) at Seminole Legacy. I have worked very hard to improve my game. My scoring average is a 73, and my handicap is a +2.
Off the course, I’m an A student in AP and honors classes, a First Tee junior coach, an LPGA Girls Golf e-Leader, and founder of the Girls Golf Locker—a project that collects and distributes golf gear for new and underserved players.
I’m passionate about golf, and giving back—and I’m excited to keep growing, both as a player and a person.
Peyton Johnson
