My high school engagement, community engagement, and my faith based engagement make me a unique student at Bremen High School. I have embraced opportunities to lead and serve my classmates, faculty, church, and community. As a golf player for 6 years, I have learned the true meaning of confidence, sacrifice, and commitment. Playing golf has provided me the opportunity of achieving and balancing academic excellence and proven dedication to a team when we became State Champions in 2019. I have learned the significance of working with others who aren’t exactly like me, as well as the gift of inspiring other young golfers. My Freshman and Sophomore years, I spent my high school Spring Breaks on a mission trip to Honduras. I have served underprivileged families and children in this impoverished country. I have over 420 service hours and will receive a service cord at graduation. Balancing school, sports, and serving make me unique. Although this pandemic has been challenging, I have learned new things about myself and this will help me in college, in my future golf career, and in life. I will continue to remain focused and keep a positive attitude. I am dedicated and eagerly engaged in my college learning and being stretched to grow in golf.
