July 2017 Personal Statement
Hello,
My name is Landon Savannah Cumbie, and I am a junior at Northside High School in Columbus, Georgia. I am looking for a university with a golf program that has a good reputation in academics and campus life. Small class size would be ideal, and I would like to major in psychology/ criminal justice. My ultimate goal is to eventually become an FBI agent.
I know I would be a good candidate for any golf team because I am hard working, dedicated, loyal, kind, and honest. I try to encourage my team members by motivating them in a light-hearted and fun manner.
I'm not sure if this makes me different but I always try to have a positive attitude, even when things aren't going so well, including my golf game. However, I'm not afraid to ask for help. I am open to criticism and more focused training. I know when its time to play, and I know when its time to work.
