Well thank goodness school is about to start back up because I have played in 27 tournaments this summer, at over 22 different courses and countless other rounds for practice. I have played in multiple 2 day tournaments as well. All of this hard work has paid off because my scoring average has come down 4 strokes. With school starting back, I can now start practicing at my home course getting ready for our golf season for school to start. I hope with all this practice I can make it to state this year. My handicap average is now 13.8.
Update: Since school has started I have now brought my handicap average down to a 12.8 and my scoring average is now an 84. I have played in 6 tournaments since school has started and have shot my all time low in a tournament with a 79. I plan to continue playing in tournaments through out the year.
11/16/14 : I finished my fist Junior Athens Tour last week. I placed 3rd with a 2 day total of 178. Since I have finished with the JAT I can now focus on local tournaments and preparing for my last High School season in the spring. I am focusing on getting my scores down and improving my golf game.
