Anesia Sims '21 Recruiting Profile

I view college as a new path, providing the guidance and growth I need to achieve in life. My goal is to pursue a career in the dental field. I am passionate about helping other individuals build their confidence and bring a smile to their face. As I am continuing to sprout in my golf career, I plan to continue to be persistent and reach for the stars. I am a student-athlete, an A student, a dual-enrolled student, but most importantly, I am committed to being a role model for my family. I strive to show my family that although obstacles may come their way, they can remain strong and overcome them. While I am determined to be a role model, I aim to be a great teammate on my Varsity golf team. The love that I have for the game of golf is unmatched. I was inspired by my grandfather to play golf. I aspire to pick up where he left off. Golf challenges me physically and mentally, more than anything I have ever done. The biggest realization that I have come to is that my biggest opponent is myself. I am trying to be better than the last time I hit on the course.
