Personal Statement

If I am blessed enough to go to college playing golf, I would enjoy having the opportunity to compete for conference, regional, and national titles with a team who is equally driven to win as I am. I would be a worthy candidate for their team because I am an intelligent and driven individual who will support my teammates victories as much as my own. I am different from my competitors since I am a very optimistic person, I never let one thing determine my day nor do I let one hole determine a round on the golf course. My academic level is also very advanced and as a freshman I took all honors and various business classes to help improve my knowledge of the business world. I walked out of this year with a 4.0 and finished 55/865 in my class. My golf game has improved tremendously over the past few years and even my freshman season, I went from shooting 100's at the beginning of the season to becoming the number two golfer in my region by shooting an 84 in the championship. I believe I made a 20 stroke difference in my average scores due to my work ethic and relentless mind set.
