Life is like a maze. Challenges are thrown your way that may give you a reason to give up. There are points where it may seem difficult, and you question if you can overcome each challenge. I believe that every challenge is made to help a person grow. It allows you to see who you are. Like a maze, challenges test your patience and perseverance. Growing up in a small school I strived to attend 'Iolani school, a more selective school that can give me more opportunities. At first I was denied in fifth grade, and this helped me to grow academically. I worked diligently and finally achieved my goal and started attending 'Iolani in my freshman year. This challenge helped me grow as a student to see my potential. I have been playing golf since I was in fourth grade, and it has become a part of me that has also shown my drive as well as my perseverance. This next point in my life, I look forward for the challenges that I will face. This maze may contain challenges, but I will learn and grow from each one to become successful in life.
