Shannon Abarra '12 Recruiting Profile

Aloha. I am currently enrolled at University of Hawaii Hilo and a 2012 graduate of Kamehameha School Maui Campus(KSM). I held a 3.6 GPA at KSM. I am happy to have Coach Makana Eleneki as my High School Golf Coach, and now have Coach Jim DeMello I have been playing golf in a competitive manner for the past 6 years. Also a member of Maui Junior Golf Assocation and Hawaii State Junior Golf Assocation. I competed in the US Women Amature Public Link Tournament in Boston. in 2009; I have also competed in the Hawaii High School State Championship during my 4 years in high school and placed 6th during my junior year. I live with both my parents (Kalani and Sandra) and my brother (Dane). Unfortunately my parents are unable to support me in my intention to wanting to play in mainland tournaments. I consider myself as a hard worker on and off the golf course and have leadership qualities. I am passionate about my golf game and would love the opportunity to play at the collegiate level. I am open to all levels of college golf.
