Personal Statement
Aloha Coaches!
My name is Luke Kahuhu and I am a 2023 Golfer at Kamehameha Schools Maui. I am 16 years old, and I am going to be a junior in high school. Golf has been in my life since the age of 4. At the age of 5, I received my first set of golf clubs and ever since, I have loved the game of golf. Golfing is not only swinging a club, you also need to analyze your surroundings, calculate yardages, know what club to hit with the course conditions that stand before you, and having the strength and endurance needed to play the game. I practice 4-5 times a week. I want to major in Astronomy while playing collegiate golf and hoping to go all the way to the tour.
