Hello, my name is Caitlin McDonagh! I have been playing competitive golf since I was thirteen with my elementary school team. This 2021-2022 school year, I’ll be entering my junior year. Beginning my high school golf career, I was a starting member of the McAuley Golf Junior Varsity team. Then, starting my Sophomore year, I was a top player on the Varsity team. I bring both 110% out on the golf course as well as my academics. As college golf approaches, I’m hoping to be a part of a competitive team, primarily located in the Midwest and South, but I am very open to going anywhere. I will be graduating in 2023, hoping to follow my academics into a Nursing career.
I’m currently being coached by Lousie Davis at Cog Hill Golf and Country Club. Currently, my eighteen hole average is 94. My goal is to play college golf while maintaining good academics. I’m driven to continue to grow in my game by not only playing, but to become a better teammate. Everyday, I am open to accepting constructive criticism not only if it’s in my game, but also in life. My current goals are to always be improving and lowering my score, but to also be a part of a great team where I receive a sense of community and family.
