I have been playing golf since I was 7, and have always really enjoyed the game. Unfortunately, I was unable to play both golf and volleyball competitively in High School until my sophomore year, when COVID allowed me to do both (after the volleyball season was moved to the spring). After having some success, and making All-Conference that year, I realized how much I enjoyed the individual and team aspects of competitive golf. In the fall of my junior year, when I had to choose between fall sports again, I decided to focus on my golf game, and I continue to improve every month. My junior year has been my most rewarding thus far, ending at the Illinois State championships. The strengths of my game are my swing speed and long distances for all of my clubs and mid to long iron distance and accuracy (220 carry for Driver, 170 carry for 5I, 150 carry for 7I). I will benefit from additional coaching on chipping accuracy and shots 40-95 yards. I am a very hard worker and have been able to play high school sports while earning a 4.0 with a very rigorous Honors and AP class schedule. In addition to my strong work ethic, my attention to detail and patient demeanor make me a good fit for the game of golf. I hope to be able to play golf at a college or university where I can pursue a major in the business field, and then intend to pursue a law degree.
