My parents have truly supported me in all aspects of my life, whether that be golf or school. I could not have accomplished what I have without their support and I am really appreciative of the time they have spent recording videos of my golf swing and helping me with schoolwork. I would like to play golf in college at a school that allows me to improve both academically and athletically. I have made huge improvements in my golf game since I began playing competitively on the varsity team my freshman year of high school and I would like to continue these improvements at the collegiate level. With college golf, I hope to improve many aspects of my game including adding distance to my clubs, being more consistent with how I am playing, and getting stronger. In terms of academic improvements, I hope to maintain good grades and really grow my interest in the major I have chosen. I am really passionate about health and fitness, so it is important to me that the college I choose has a Nutrition and Dietetics program. I have always been a hard worker and I intend to bring these skills to college where I look to improve my game even more. Leadership is also one of my strengths, as I am a Co-President for a club at my high school called Family Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA). These leadership skills extend to my golf team where I help new players adjust to high school golf and where I am trusted by my coach to make sure certain tasks get taken care of. My goal for this next year is to get my handicap into the single digits which can be achieved through continued lessons with my swing coach, Nick Schiavi (The Swing Library), and playing in the Illinois Prep Tour Tournaments which are held through the spring and summer.
