My love for golf began in childhood, sparked by a set of Little Tikes golf clubs my dad gifted me. I have fond memories of joining him and my grandpa on the golf course, where I learned the importance of perseverance and refining my skills. Golf remains a cherished Sunday routine with my dad and my “grandpa”, who have been instrumental in shaping my game. Throughout these experiences, I have learned to seek out and take criticism knowing that it’s only making me a better player. My desire to constantly be learning and improving is a testament to my dedication to the game.
I plan on going to college to pursue secondary English education. I have a love for books and writing and want to share that passion with others. I hope to develop students that have a love for learning. I am involved in several extra curricular activities in addition to golf; these include Art Club, Band, Scholastic Bowl, Drama Club, Speech, Esports, and Trap Shooting. Through these various experiences, I am continually learning, persisting through challenges and finding success as a team player. I consider myself a hard worker that is dedicated to achieving at a high level. My accomplishments in golf and trap, along with my academic successes are examples of my work ethic, determination and dedication.
