My collegiate goal is to grow as a person, growing academically and improving my golf game. Having a background in competitive gymnastics (club team) for 13 years has taught me how to be a good team player and helping support the team. I learned how to be a good role model for the younger girls reinforcing my leadership skills. I know how very important it is for team mates to be supportive of one another. A good attitude is important to establish a good support system and relationship with your teammates and coaches. My sports involvement has taught me good time management skills and helped me maintain my focus. I'm able to play golf and benefit from it academically. As I began to play golf more seriously over the last two years , I learned that a good mindset is half the battle. Golf has taught me how to trust myself and be more confident in my ability. I understand that life is not easy, and I must put in the work to accomplish any goals that are important to me. With everything I do I make sure to put in 110% and that giving up is never an option. I'm open to new ideas and positive criticism so I can better myself and improve my game.
