Going to state as a freshmen was the start of my high school career. However, I feel that I grew the most as a student athlete during my junior year when I won regionals and advanced to state later that year. That experience helped me to grow and want to improve so that I felt confident to play at the college level.
My father has been a big part of helping me to further my golf career. He introduced me to the sport when I was three years old and I grew to have a love for the game. This sport has made me a better player by teaching me to value teamwork, the level of commitment needed for the game and learning how to never give up. Learning how to compromise and sacrifice has also been an important lesson. I've learned that if you are not willing to compromise and sacrifice, it will be hard to learn new things and improve from mistakes in the future.
I am looking for a program that will fit me athletically as well as academically. I believe that I not only have the talent to compete at a college level, I also have the leadership, character, integrity and work-ethic to make an impact on your program. As a three time state-qualifier, as well as team captain, I know I can be a great asset to your program.
