I was introduced to golf before the age of five by my dad, a former PGA professional, and at 12 years of age I realized it was the sport I loved, choosing to learn more and become better each season. I know there are good days and bad days in the sport (and life), and you have to tee it up tomorrow to keep growing. Through the game, I have developed greater self-confidence, in what I can do and achieve, and an appreciation that a team is more important than me. A team is where my contributions on and off the field are of greater reward than my individual performance.
Golf will always be a part of my life. Where it takes me in between is the unknown rewarding journey I am excited about. College is the next step in the journey. I would like to attend a school with a strong campus feel where I can be involved and build meaningful friendships being my authentic self. A school with a recognized business curriculum to challenge and prepare me for my professional career. And, a school with a leading women’s golf program where I can contribute to the team’s success – continuing to grow as a person through the game I love.
