Winning the 2nd place state title my junior year was the highlight of my high school career so far. Making it to state had been a personal goal since I started playing the game. Missing the championship title by a few strokes really taught me as a player to never give up, to stay mentally tough, and to always think you're not in the lead. Believing you're not in the lead helps to keep you fighting for the position you want to be in. One high school goal athletically is to return to the state finals and bring home the championship trophy to my town. I also want to place personally at state and bring home an individual medal. Academically in high school, I am working to finish my career with Honors, meaning I maintained a 4.00 GPA all four years of high school.
My goal for college is to attend a school that has a great Physical Therapy program. I also would love to be part of a golf team that helps shape me as an athlete and as a person. I have the work ethic, mental toughness, and physical ability to be a good candidate for many teams and plan to continue working on all the aspects that make that possible.
