This season begins my 4th year of competitive play and I'm not only excited for this season, but for what lies ahead.
This past season was one of growth and it's made me take the leap from "maybe I can play in college" to "I am going to play in college." And while some of that is driven from my overall improvement scoring-wise on the course, it's also from the realization that this game really means something to me.
Playing golf brings me a lot of joy as it's a sport where you are relying on yourself for focused motivation while using your athletic and your mental skills. I love challenging myself and teammates to push the boundaries to achieve more. Whether it is in the classroom with a grade or on a project, or on the athletic field fighting for a starting spot, I always commit. But I bring the fun too. I think you need to enjoy what you do to excel in it and I intend to bring my athletic ability and fun sense of humor with me wherever I go.
I'm hoping to use the skills I acquire on the course, and in the classroom, to play at the collegiate level and strive for pro. From there I can use those achievements in whatever field I decide to pursue.
Thanks
