Hi, my name is Abby Buechele. I am a junior at St Charles East High School and have played on the girls varsity golf team every year. I started playing Junior PGA golf in elementary school and in fact, worked with the PGA to design the shirts! I really enjoy playing golf. I like to play on a competitive team but I also like to have fun with my teammates. This year was especially fun because our team beat our cross-town rivals in conference play. My scores have improved every year. I didn't get to play many 18 hole matches this year because of COVID, but I hit my personal at Conference with an 85 and I finished in 3rd place junior year. I also was awarded as an All Academic Conference athlete.
Senior year at conference, I shot an 81 (38 + 43). I tied for 7th place in the DuKane Conference.
I am not decided on my area of study for college, but I would like to play college golf. I would like to go to a school that offers multiple majors so that I leave college with a great education and with the skills to be a successful professional.
