My collegiate goals include the opportunity to study kinesiology and also be able to be a member of a college golf team
What sets me apart from other potential recruits is that I am a well rounded person ranging from academics (currently have 3.276 out of 4.0 GPA); involvement in sports (golf, swim, karate); and social and artistic interests (youth programs through church, have accomplished reaching the rank of a Senior Cadette in Girl Scouts, which included having numerous service hours, photography, choir and art. I also participate in WWI and WWII reenactments a couple times a year.)
The sports I participate in require an extreme amount of dedication and discipline. I apply the disciplinary factor that I have gained through participation in these sports to my daily living and life goals.
I try to lead by example and have a strong desire to help others reach their life goals related to a healthy lifestyle, including the study of movement of the body which could involve sports therapy or physical therapy; good nutritional habits and positive self esteem.
To sum it up in stereotypical terminology, I am the perfect combination of the following: nerd, jock, social butterfly, and humanitarian.
I would love the opportunity to carry these goals through my college experience.
