My first time swinging a club was July of 2019, and ever since then I have fell in love with the game. I have always been such a competitive person and always wanted to be a collegiate athlete. Before covid hit I focused all my time and energy on softball in hopes to go college for that. During covid the only thing that was open was golf courses. I spent summer of 2020 golfing to get my competitive fix. Then going into my second year playing for our high school team, I was our Bi-county‘s medalist, second in conference, and I qualified for regionals. I did not realize that I would be capable of any of those things my second season of playing. That’s when I knew if I spent winter, spring, and summer playing and expanding my golf knowledge that I could have a chance of playing golf in college. I am excited to see how I finish my last season of golf on my high school school to see how much I have grown. I do hope that my golf journey does not stop now because I am more passionate about golf than ever. I have improved in this short amount of time only because of my passion, and that is the one thing I can always provide as an asset to a team. I know with the help of collegiate coaching and my passion for golf that my journey can continue.
