I have always loved to play golf and I have had the dream of playing college golf since 1st grade. I have been surrounded by the game of golf my whole life and it is my favorite sport, favorite hobby and what I enjoy doing most with my family. I have worked extremely hard to get my game better every year – this year included.
Working hard on my academics and practicing hard on my game is a combination that would make me a successful recruit for your team. In high school I am involved in many clubs and I play 3 varsity sports – basketball and track along with golf. My ability to follow coaches directions and plans, make me coachable on different levels. I have always had strong leadership skills in the classroom, athletic teams and with my various clubs.
I am looking for a university that is compatible with my personality traits, academic goals and golfing ability.

- North Decatur High School junior, Sidney Parmer, is this week’s athlete of the week after becoming the back-to-back conference champion is girls shot put for the lady charger’s track and field team! Sidney is a hard working and sweet young lady that is involved in and excels in almost everything! Not only does she participate in track and field, but she is also on the golf and basketball teams. In golf, she was a Mid Hoosier Conference Medalist for 3 years, and a regional qualifier the past 2 years, and in basketball she made all-conference. If that’s not enough to keep a girl busy, Sidney is also involved with Sunshine society, FFA, SADD, 4-H, Book Club, Church Youth Group, Champions of Youth, Spirit Club, and National Honors Society!...Oh, and she currently rocks a 4.03 GPA! Clearly, she lives by her favorite quote by Annika Sorenstam, “There are no shortcuts to success.” Sidney is one to always put in the work necessary to be successful. Outside of all her activities, she enjoys hanging with family and friends, watching movies, and reading books. Sidney has been training with us for about 3 years, and says what she enjoys most about training at CP is, “Being around the people. I also enjoy being able to watch myself improve through the workouts.” She later added, “I would recommend CP to other athletes because going to CP has bettered me in more than one way. It has made me appreciate the time and hard work athletes have to put in to get where they are.” Needless to say, Sidney is not only an outstanding athlete, but a mature and highly involved young lady, with a bright future ahead.
