I love playing golf! I started playing when I was 7 years old and have a deep rooted passion for the game. I enjoyed just being out on the course and playing. However, it wasn’t until I was the county medalist in 8th grade, I was even more motivated to succeed at golf. I love the challenges golf brings and very year I strive to do better.
I enjoy playing on teams. Participating in my high school golf team has taught me many things. One of my coaches often has stated that I lead by example especially demonstrating how hard work can pay off.
In 2018, I was Indiana Age Group 17 Champ medalist & Masters Tour medalist. I qualified for IHSAA Girls Golf State Championship in addition to being medalist for the Sectionals Championship and the Metropolitan Interscholastic Conference [shooting a career tournament low of 67 (-4)]. I was voted Indy Star athlete of the week too.
In 2017, my high school team won county and sectionals this year, which I was the medalist for both of these tournaments shooting even PAR in each event. My team was also second in the 2017 Metropolitan Interscholastic Conference tournament.
My academic goals in high school include doing my very best in classes; identify career potentials; and to maintain a strong work ethic. I was one of only a few students recommended to attend the 2017 IHSAA Leadership conference. It was a great honor to represent my school. Also since my sophomore year, I have participated in student council. We meet regularly to discuss school matters but we also do charity work.
I am looking for a good fit academically but also a golf program and team that will push me to be my best.
