I have been playing golf since I was 10 years old. I joined my Jr High School team in 6th grade, and have kept playing because even though the game is challenging it makes me want to work harder.
In addition to being a player, I work at Brickyard Crossing and helped with a junior golf camp there this summer. I have also been a caddy at Highland Country Club for the last three summers. I am dedicated to always improve my golf game and helping others with theirs.
Being a three-sport varsity athlete while maintaining an honor roll GPA keeps me busy and challenged in a positive way. This is a big motivator to pursue golf at the collegiate level. I have always had to work harder than my peers in the classroom and on the competition field but this makes me appreciate my accomplishments and not take any opportunity I am given for granted.
My ideal athletic college experience would be to play golf where I am able to contribute to my team as a freshman. I also want to attend college where the environment encourages me to stay involved in the community, continue challenging myself, and strive for excellence in all that I do. I am open to new experiences that will help me achieve my goals and build a successful career in the athletic industry.
I want to make my coaches, teammates, family, and friends proud.
