Because of my late start (freshman year) in golf, I had to work much harder than others. To my advantage, COVID hit and expanded my 3 month summer break to about 6 months. I give 110% in all I do whether that is golf, academics, or track and field. My biggest goal for golf right now is to play at the collegiate level, and I will work as hard as I can to make that dream possible. I went from scoring in the 100s freshman year to around 85 sophomore year to 78 junior year, and I plan on improving more from there. I have become a leader for my team as I am the #1 golfer, and I am coachable. I am looking for a coach that will challenge me to improve and give me knowledge to help me do so. During the summer, I practice almost every day for about 5 hours, and during the school year I spend my time outside of the classroom at the golf course. I like playing with different levels of players at my course to challenge myself. I have always been a disciplined kid which helps on and off the course. I long to be successful on the golf course, but academics will always be my first priority-- a main deciding factor of schools will be the strength of their biology program. Thank you for your consideration and time taken to read my profile!
