I was introduced to golf in 3rd grade when I attended a summer rec program and have been in love with the sport ever since. I continued with the summer program until I was old enough to play for the middle school team. From 6th grade on, I have played golf every fall season. With no individual training, I have placed in the top 10 at States every year and have improved my score each year. I had a goal to win PVC Women’s player of the year and was able to accomplish that last year. Not only do I take pride in my athletic abilities, I am a strong academic student. I have maintained honor roll while taking advanced placement and college courses, all while participating in volunteer activities through National Honor Society. I do this while being a two-sport athlete and working part-time at a golf course. I am competitive and hardworking, but I also make connections and stay in touch with players from competing schools because of my sportsmanship and encouragement during matches.
