In my life, I have played both golf and tennis, but I found a real passion from the challenge that golf gives me. In the future, I want to pursue golf in college because it is a sport I enjoy every day since I started seriously playing about 4 years ago. I have been playing on my school's varsity team for 3 years now, and my scores have been improving since. Years of coaching and practice has taught me the importance of hard work and the reward that comes with such dedication. Along with this, golf has taught me patience, perseverance, and teamwork. Golf has taught me these skills which I can use both in the classroom and on the course, making it an extremely helpful extracurricular activity for me. The game provides me with such an exciting challenge, as every round differs from the one before but are each a learning experience on their own. It has allowed me to become a better golfer and a better, well-rounded person. It has given me so many opportunities and I have met some of my closest friends from golf, so the prospect of becoming a college athlete makes me extremely excited for the opportunities to come in my future.
