I started playing golf in April of 2021 and since then have strived each day to get better and meet my goals. Throughout the last 2 1/2 years, I've been working hard to improve my personal growth by taking lessons and practicing. I've been on the high school varsity team since my freshman year starting in August of 2021. Though I had only been playing for 4 months at that point, I was able to compete in the district and central Maryland conference championships for the individual women’s title. From shooting in the 120s my freshman year to now, junior year, shooting in the low 90s and making to the state championship, I am proud of my growth and what the future will bring.
On the academic side of things, I have taken honors english 10 and am currently enrolled in honors algebra 2, english 101, honors chemistry, and AP world history. Looking into the spring, im starting a dental assistant program through the local community college. I'm also vice president of Best Buddies club which helps with the special education students in addition to several other social clubs.
With my work ethic and dedication to get better, I believe I will make a great aedition to any team. I’m excited for what the future holds for my academic and athletic career.
