My name is Shelby Herbert, and I am a 17-year-old, 5'2" 105 lb. golfer. I am a senior and will graduate with the class of 2024!! I am the captain of my varsity high school golf team which I take very seriously to ensure my teammates have everything they need and were prepared for our upcoming season. I pride myself on being a student of the game and a hard worker on and off the course. I train for tournaments by working out and practicing every day. I feel my commitment to training will not help only my physical play, but also motivate myself into being the best I can be. I have enjoyed making new friendships, practicing as a team, and helping our team succeed. I will continue to compete competitively through MSGA, USGA, PKBGT, and MAPGA. I continue to improve my short game, which has made a difference in my play. I have so much passion for the game that my talent to compete, leadership skills, and work ethic will make an immediate impact with your program. I have strong academics that prove my work ethic makes me a great fit for your team.
