Lila Becker '25 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Lila Becker, and I am currently a junior in high school.  I have been playing competitive golf for the past five years on the AJGA, PKBGT, USGA, MSGA, MAPGA tours. I am very excited to potentially have the chance to play high level collegiate golf. 

Currently, I am my high school’s golf team captain. This is probably the part of golf that I love best, being a member of a team. As a player and captain, I love supporting my teammates as we all work together for our common goals of improving our individual game, making new friends and ultimately winning. These values parallel my other main interest in the Civil Air Patrol, (CAP), of which I have been a member for four years.  There, after many promotions I attained the title of Chief Master Sergeant and the First Sergeant of the Howard Squadron. Both the golf and CAP opportunities have helped me to better develop leadership skills, communication effectiveness and striving to be the best I can. 

It would be an honor to join a program where I can help to build upon the success of other women's collegiate golfers who have exceled before me. I take preparation, practice and strong work ethics very seriously and would match well with a program that mirrors those interests.
