Taryn Holmes '24 Recruiting Profile

Hey coaches, My name is Taryn Holmes and I started my Junior Year of high school this fall. I have played on my high school golf team since I was a Freshman and have been consistently working with my coach more and more over the past few years. I am determined in continually working to improve all aspects my game and my education. I am also a National Honor Society member and avid musician. 

When I was younger I only played golf here and there but then as The Covid Pandemic hit I started playing  more and more. It made me realize how much I love the game and how much I wanted to keep playing for as long as I can. 

This past year I began to work weekly with my coach all year round and have seen tremendous improvement. Committing more time to practice and playing has paid great dividends and I have enjoyed getting into playing in a more competitive environment. 

Over the next year I plan to travel and play in as many tournaments as I can and continue to hone my skills. I am looking forward to finding a school and a program where get an education and be a contributing part of a competitive golf program.
