Growing up, one of my biggest aspirations was to one day play golf at the collegiate level. Along with playing golf in college, I aspire to receive an education in the Criminal Justice field.
Although golf is considered more of an individual sport, I am definitely a team player as well. I have been recognized for my great attitude and my approach to the game of golf. I always try to be encouraging and a role model for my teammates. Currently, I am the captain of the Girls Golf team at Reeths Puffer High School. I stay competitive in the summer by competing in the Callaway Meijer Junior Tour, the West Michigan Junior Golf Tour, and the Greater Muskegon Junior Golf Tour. I would be a great addition to your team because I possess important qualities such as: adaptability, optimism, and a great work ethic.
During my three years of playing High School Varsity Golf, I have obtained notable achievements. During my Freshman year, I made All Conference in the OK Green Conference league and won the OK Green Conference Final. During my Sophomore year, I made All Conference and All State Honorable Mention in division two. During my Junior year season, I won three invitationals including: Mona Shores Invitational (73), Montague Invitational (76), and the Reeths Puffer Invitational (78). Along with that, I made All Conference and First Team All State in division two. Although I have many great accomplishments, I still am continuing to work on improving even more.
Academics have always been extremely important to me. I am currently taking 5 Advanced Placement classes (AP) which include: AP English Literature, AP Statistics, AP Human Geography, AP Environmental Science, and AP Psychology. I am also a part of my school’s chapter of National Honor Society. Giving back and contributing to my community is valuable and important to me. Throughout my High School years, I have maintained a 4.09 weighted GPA and a 3.87 unweighted GPA. I feel that my qualities and drive will help me achieve my goals and reach where I want to be.
